Plymouth Local Foods Winter into Spring Market at Plimoth Plantation!

WINTER…
We are very pleased to announce that this winter and spring our farmers and food-makers will gather 3pm till 6:30 on the third Thursday of each month for a local food market, music and movie gathering! This is made possible by a collaboration with our beloved local living history museum, Plimoth Plantation. These are the dates:
December 17: a special thanks to the Lindsay's for playing their joyful music!
January 21: a special thanks to Sherry Malone, for her silky songs and smooth guitar.
February 18: a special thanks to the many musicians from Backyard Bluegrass and Friends who made the afternoon warm and toe tappin' fun.
March 18 Thank you to Bill Bell and the other musicians for all the fun Irish music! See them each Saturday night at the Run of the Mill Tavern at Jenny Pond.
April 15: THANKS TO The Harper and the Minstrel and Jackson Gillman for their performances!
May 20: Sherry Malone will welcome the flowers back to the land with her sweet and sultry voice! The food film Good Food will show at 4:30 and 7pm. The market will be held in the Peabody Picnic Pavillion, just beyond the Nye Barn from the lower bus lot.
- *Plimoth Plantation is open! Plan to visit the Wampanoag Homesite and the Colonial Village while you're here. We will have coolers to store your food as you stroll about and enjoy the day.
- *Artisans from the Plantation will offer their crafts and the Museum Shops will be open as well!
- *The Cinema continues its food film series. This month's movie: Good Food about people finding a whole new relationship with the food they eat and the land that surrounds them . Showing at 4:30 and 7pm.
- *The Plimoth Knitters Club will have their meeting at 6:30, new members welcome.

Recommended donation: $5. 50% of the monies raised will be directed to the
Greater Plymouth Food Warehouse.

For other films and times
Remember, you can have a mug of Mayflower beer
or a glass of wine along with a warm carton of popcorn on Saturday nights
as you watch one of the first run, independent films shown at the
Plimoth Cinema, how nice!
- Coolers will be available to store your foods while you stay to see a film, shop the shops or browse the artisans offerings as well as appreciate all the local foods.

Food-Makers: Jennys Bread, Walters Specialty Foods, Martha's Stone Soup, Honey I'm Home, Side Dish, Mad Hectic Foods, The Artisan Kitchen, Blue Blinds Bakery
Others: Rainwater Falls Apothocary with soap and herbals; Sinatra Design with Recipe Art (not in Feb or March); Olio Di Melli with South Coast cheeses and olive oil; Blue Heron Arts with pottery, knitting and eggs; Thyme after Thyme with dried herbs (not in February or March), Dave's Smokehouse with smoked fish and more, So Berry Clean with soap berries for laundering, Edible South Shore magazine with a book selection on food and farm issues, multi-talented Artisans from the Plantation staff as well as the Plantation Heritage Breeds program, when available.
