What do you get for $25? Friends receive a card (choose your favorite image) that will be your ticket to weekly specials, discounts, freebies and seasonal local food opportunities. These special offers are from the farmers, bakers and food-makers as well as supportive institutional and business friends. Check here for market specials, sign up to receive a weekly email or stop by the market tent any Thursday to see what is being offered to Market Friends that day.
How do you get a Friend Card? Friend cards are available through the mail, and pick it up at the next market. Or stop by the market table any Thursday. The 2012 Friendship Fund contributes to the EBT/SNAP redemption program started in 2011 with a Department of Agriculture and Department of Transitional Assistance Grant award. Friendship funds also help the Market get the word out about the 2012 move to Plimoth Plantation.
