Visit one of the many local farmers markets on the south shore, look around.

Go Apple picking.

Find local eggs, at the farmers' market or at a farmstand.

Join a C.S.A. Community supported agriculture: Pay a set amount for a season of produce that you will receive weekly during growing season.

Stop at a local farm stand.

Find restaurants that support local farmers.

Grow something  in your yard or in pots even if it is just an herb garden.
